RESOLUTION NO. 7979 AND INSTEAD ESTABLISHING THE CRIME ANALYST AS A
REPRESENTED CLASSIFICATION IN THE POLICE OFFICERSâ ASSOCIATION (POA)
AND APPROVAL OF THE TRI-PARTY AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY, THE
PUBLIC SERVICES EMPLOYEES' ASSOCIATION AND THE POLICE OFFICERS'
ASSOCIATION MEMORIALIZING THE CHANGE
Recommendation
It is recommended that the City Council adopt Resolution No. 8021 rescinding Section 2
of Resolution No. 7979 removing the Crime Analyst classification from the Public Service

Employeesâ Association, establishing the Crime Analyst as a represented classification in
the Police Officersâ Association and approving the tri-party agreement memorializing the
bargaining unit transition.
