(2) 25-0410 PUBLIC SAFETY and BUDGET AND FINANCE COMMITTEES’ REPORT and ORDINANCE FIRST CONSIDERATION relative to amending the Los Angeles Administrative Code (LAAC) to update the schedule of charges for emergency services to increase the rate for basic life support. Recommendation for Council action, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE MAYOR: PRESENT and ADOPT the accompanying ORDINANCE, dated May 18, 2026, amending Subsection (b) of Section 22.210.2 of Article 4, Chapter 10, Division 22 of the LAAC to update the Schedule of Charges for Emergency Services to increase the Rate for Basic Life Support.
