CONTRACT AWARD - DRIVING RANGE ERRANT BALL NETTING EXTENSION AND FINDING THE PROJECT CATEGORICALLY EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT Potential Action(s) If the City Council concurs with the information provided within this staff report, moving this item without modifications would result in adoption of Resolution No. 26-140, which will: 1. Find the Driving Range Errant Ball Netting Extension, CIP Project No. 13607, categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Section 15301, Class 1 (Existing Facilities) and Section 15302, Class 2 (Replacement or Reconstruction) of the state CEQA Guidelines. 2. Insist on strict compliance with the bid specifications and reject West Coast Netting, Inc.’s bid as defective and non-responsive. 3. Award the Driving Range Errant Ball Netting Extension, construction contract to Judge Netting, Inc. as the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. 4. Approve, and authorize the City Manager to execute, Contract No. C26- providing for the Driving Range Errant Ball Netting Extension, in the amount of $313,200.
