AWARD CONTRACT: PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES FOR THE\nWATER MAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT ON HALSTEAD CIRCLE, HIDALGO\nAVENUE, AND MAIN STREET – F2M23-30, RFP2M23-8, C2M23-30, M2M23-68\nOn March 13, 2023, the City Council approved the distribution of a Request for Proposals\nfor Professional Engineering Design Services for the Water Main Replacement Project on\nHalstead Circle, Hidalgo Avenue, and Main Street. Staff reviewed a total of five proposals.\nOnward Engineering was selected based on their distinguished qualifications, experience,\nreputation, responsiveness, availability, and cost.\nRecommended Action: City Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, by and between the City of Alhambra and\nOnward Engineering for Professional Engineering Design Services for the Water Main\nReplacement Project on Halstead Circle, Hidalgo Avenue, and Main Street in an amount\nnot to exceed $78,913.00; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize\nCouncil’s action.
