16. AWARD CONTRACT: VEHICLE TOWING SERVICES FOR THE CITY – F2M23-24,\nRFP2M23-3, C2M23-35, M2M23-74\nOn February 12, 2023, the City Council approved the distribution of a Request for\nProposals (RFP) for Vehicle Towing Services for the City. A total of one proposal was\nreceived by the deadline on March 22, 2023. The project team review and evaluated the\nproposal submitted by Henry’s Towing & Recovery Inc. for pricing transparency,\nreferences, experience, proposal detail, and fulfilling the RFP requirements and\ndetermined it to be in full compliance and conformance with the RFP specifications. The\nterm of the agreement is for four years, with three automatic one-year renewals (unless\nterminated) for a total of seven years, starting July 1, 2023.\nRecommended Action: City Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, by and between the City of Alhambra and\nHenry’s Towing & Recovery Inc. to provide Vehicle Towing Services for the City of\nAlhambra; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.\n(M2M23-74)
