9. UPFITTING OF FOUR FORD UTILITY PURSUIT VEHICLES BY INNOVATIVE\nEMERGENCY EQUIPMENT\nPurpose: Authorize the Public Works Department to purchase upfitting service for four\nFord Utility Pursuit vehicles. Associated costs in the amount of $68,540 are included in\nthe current year 2022-23 budget. However, this is less than the most recent estimate\nprovided by Innovative Emergency Equipment. For this reason, a budget amendment in\nthe amount of $15,422.48 will be required from the undesignated Vehicle Replacement\nFund balance.\nRecommended Action: 1) Authorize upfitting costs in the amount of $20,990.68 for each\nof the four Ford Utility Pursuit vehicles (total of $83,962.48) from Innovative Emergency\nEquipment; and, 2) Approve a budget amendment in the amount of $15,422.48 to cover\nincreased vehicle upfitting costs.
