3.8 APPROVAL OF PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND\nFUNDING FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGER INSTALLATION AT IRVINE\nCIVIC CENTER PHASE II\nACTION:\n1) Approve the construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for\nElectric Vehicle Charger Installation at Irvine Civic Center Phase II, Capital\nImprovement Program (CIP) project 361908.\n2) Approve a budget adjustment in the amount of $221,000 for Electric Vehicle\nCharger Installation at Irvine Civic Center Phase II, CIP project 361908.\n3) Approve the Engineer's Estimate, Construction Contingency, and Project\nFunding Summary.\n4) Authorize staff to solicit competitive bids and award the construction\ncontract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, in accordance with\nthe City's purchasing policies and procedures, within the approved project\nbudget.\n3.8
