8. Award of Bid No. 001-24 – Street Light System Maintenance, Emergency Repairs, and\nRelated Construction Services\nRECOMMENDATION:\nThat the City Council:\n1. Finds that the Street Light System Maintenance, Emergency Repairs, and\nRelated Construction Services project is exempt from the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA); and\n2. Adopts the next Resolutions, in order, to:\na. Approve Plans and Specifications for Street Light System Maintenance,\nEmergency Repairs, and Related Construction Services for the Cities of El\nCajon, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, and Santee, Bid No. 001-24; and\nb. Award the bid to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Southwest\nTraffic Signal Service, Inc., in the amount of $344,697 for the base bid and\nAdditive Alternate No. 1. The City of El Cajon’s portion of the award is\n$152,510.
