AUTHORIZATION TO ENTER INTO A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH KOA\nCORPORATION AND APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR THE PREPARATION OF A LOCAL\nROAD SAFETY PLAN (FUNDING SOURCE: PROPOSITION C)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council:\nA. Authorize the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement\nwith KOA Corporation for the preparation of a Local Road Safety Plan in the\namount of $105,728, and authorize a ten percent contingency in the amount\nof $10,573, for a not-to-exceed amount of $116,301; and\nB. Appropriate $116,301 from the Proposition C Fund to complete this\nproject.
