D. Consideration and possible action to continue implementing Assembly Bill No.\n361 (AB 361) authorizing teleconferencing of meetings of legislative bodies for\nthe month of February 2023. (Momoli)\nRecommendation: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 2023-__, A RESOLUTION OF\nTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES,\nCALIFORNIA, RE-RATIFYING THE PROCLAMATION OF A STATE OF\nEMERGENCY BY GOVERNOR NEWSOM ON MARCH 4, 2020, AND RE-\nAUTHORIZING REMOTE TELECONFERENCE MEETINGS OF THE\nLEGISLATIVE BODIES OF THE CITY OF RANCHO PALOS VERDES FOR\nTHE PERIOD BEGINNING FEBRUARY 1, 2023 THROUGH FEBRUARY 28,\n2023, PURSUANT TO THE RALPH M. BROWN ACT AND ASSEMBLY BILL\nNO. 361; and, 2) Authorize Staff to continue conducting, as warranted, City\nCouncil and Planning Commission public meetings using a combination in-\nperson/virtual (hybrid) platform and continue conducting virtual-only meetings\nor a combination in-person/virtual (hybrid) platform, if warranted, for the City’s\nfive Committees (Civic Center Advisory, Emergency Preparedness, Finance\nAdvisory, Infrastructure Management Advisory, Traffic Safety) subject to the\nBrown Act in accordance with the requirements of AB 361; and return with\nextension resolutions for the City Council’s consideration every 30 days as the\nsame may be warranted.\nAgenda Report
