CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NOS. 23-36 to\n23-41, CREATING NEW CLASSIFICATIONS AND UPDATING CERTAIN\nJOB DESCRIPTIONS\nApproval of the attached resolutions would create the new classifications\nof Community Development Analyst, Senior Accounting Specialist,\nRecreation Manager, and Transportation and Senior Services Manager\nand associated compensation ranges. The job title of Personnel Analyst\nwould be changed to Human Resources Analyst and updates/revisions to\nthe current class specifications for Accountant and Human Resources\nAnalyst would be approved. The City Manager also seeks authorization to\nincrease from 1 to 2 Permit Technician positions.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends the City Council adopt the\nattached Resolutions No. 23-36 to 23-41 adding the positions of\nCommunity Development Analyst, Recreation Manager, Senior Accounting\nSpecialist, and Transportation and Senior Services Manager; changing job\ntitle of Personnel Analyst to Human Resources Analyst and updating the\nclass specification; and adopting revised Accountant class specification;\nand 2) authorize the City Manager to increase the number of Permit\nTechnicians from 1 to 2.
