9.b. CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 23-43,\nAWARDING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT (PSA) TO\nWEST & ASSOCIATES ENGINEERING, INC. FOR DESIGN SERVICES\nFOR SOUTH EL MONTE SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL PEDESTRIAN\nSAFETY PROJECT, ATP CYCLE 5\nAward of contract for Safe Routes to School Pedestrian Safety Project at\n23 locations within school sites around the City.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 23-43, awarding a PSA to West & Associates\nEngineering, Inc. for Design Services for South El Monte Safe Routes\nto School Pedestrian Safety Project (ATP CYCLE 5) in the amount of\n$127,500; and\n2. Authorize City Manager or designee to negotiate and execute the\nagreement.
