CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 23-45,\nADOPTING THE CITY OF SOUTH EL MONTE = 2022-2023\nENGINEERING AND TRAFFIC SURVEY (SPEED SURVEY)\nThe City of South El Monte staff completed an Engineering and Traffic\nSurvey (Speed Survey) for (23) street segments citywide and prepared the\nCity of South El Monte 2022-2023 Engineering and Traffic Survey. A\nresolution is required to be adopted by the City Council to set and\nestablish citywide speed limits to be upheld by the courts.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council adopt\nResolution No. 23-45, approving the Certification of the City of South El\nMonte 2022-2023 Engineering and Traffic Survey for (23) street segments\nCitywide for the establishment of speed limits.
