Award of Contract to Mariposa Landscapes, Inc., for Median\nand Parkway Landscape Maintenance Services Fiscal\nImpact: Expense: $279,575.91 Annual Contract Amount\nProposed Budget: $279,575.91 Fiscal Year 2023-34\nOperating Budget (103655-6115, 173555-6115, 296561-\n6115)\nRecommended Action: It is recommended that the City\nCouncil:\n1) Approve a Professional Services Agreement with\nMariposa Landscapes, Inc., for Median and Parkway\nLandscape Maintenance Services in an amount not-to-\nexceed $279,575.91 per year for an initial three (3)\nyear contract term with the option to extend for an\nadditional two-year term; and\n2) Authorize the City Administrator to approve contract\nchange orders up to 10% of the annual contract not-\nto-exceed amount; and\n3) Authorize the City Administrator and/or his designee\nto execute all necessary documents, in a form\napproved by the City Attorney; and\n4) Authorize the City Administrator to approve the\neligible contract term extension an additional two-\nyear term based upon contractor performance and at\nthe discretion of the City.\nStaff Report\nContract with Mariposa Landscapes
