8. Award of Maintenance Services Agreement for Wetland and Habitat\nMaintenance to Real Green, Inc.\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Approve the Maintenance Services Agreement for Wetland and Habitat\nAreas Maintenance in the not-to-exceed amount of $150,000 per year for\nFiscal Years 2023-24 through 2025-26, subject to extension\nadministratively for two additional one-year periods;\n2. Approve a not-to-exceed 20% contingency per year of the total contract\nvalue in the amount of $30,000 for unforeseen conditions or extra work and\nauthorize the Public Works Director/City Engineer to approve additional\nwork with Real Green Inc. for a total not-to-exceed amount of $180,000 per\nyear, if needed; and,\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and future\namendments to the Maintenance Services Agreement with Real Green Inc.,\nsubject to the City Attorney making non-substantive changes.\nCity Council Regular Meeting Agenda Page 4 of 8 May 16, 2023
