9. Award of Professional Services Agreement for Energy Assessment Study to\nKilowatt Engineering, Inc. dba kW Engineering\nRecommendation\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Approve the Professional Services Agreement for Energy Assessment\nStudy with Kilowatt Engineering, Inc. dba kW Engineering in the not-to-\nexceed amount of $114,555;\n2. Approve a not-to-exceed 20% contingency of the total contract in the\namount of $22,911 for unforeseen conditions or extra work and authorize\nthe Public Works Director/City Engineer to approve additional work for a\ntotal not-to-exceed amount of $137,466, if needed; and,\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the agreement and future\namendments to the Professional Services Agreement with Kilowatt\nEngineering, Inc. dba kW Engineering, subject to the City Attorney making\nnon-substantive changes.
