9. AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE BLUEBIRD STORM\nDRAIN OUTFALL AND DIVERSION STRUCTURE REHABILITATION\nRecommendations:\n(1) Award and authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Beador\nConstruction Company, Inc., in the amount of $1,123,300, for the Bluebird Storm\nDrain Outfall and Diversion Structure Rehabilitation;\n(2) Authorize the City Manager to approve project related expenses and\nconstruction change orders for unforeseen circumstances for an amount not-to-\nexceed $150,000; and\n(3) Transfer an appropriation of $404,000 in project savings from the Summit\nDrive Storm Drain Improvement Project to the Bluebird Storm Drain Outfall\nProject to fully fund the project.\nStaff Report
