B.5. APPROVAL OF THE MAXIMUM AND APPLIED SPECIAL TAXES FOR\nCERTAIN COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICTS FOR FISCAL YEAR\n2023/24 (RESO. NOS. CSD 2023-__ and CSD 2023-__) (Report of:\nFinancial & Management Services)\nRecommendations:\n1. Acting in its capacity as the Board of Directors for the CSD and as the\nlegislative body of Community Facilities District No. 1, adopt\nResolution No. CSD 2023-__, a Resolution of the Moreno Valley\nCommunity Services District of the City of Moreno Valley, California,\nApproving the Continuation of the Community Facilities District No. 1\nMaximum and Applied Special Tax Rates for Fiscal Year 2023/24, and\nCalculation Thereof.\n2. Acting in its capacity as the Board of Directors for the CSD and as the\nlegislative body of Community Facilities District No. 2021-01, adopt\nResolution No. CSD 2023-__, a Resolution of the Moreno Valley\nCommunity Services District of the City of Moreno Valley, California,\nApproving the Continuation of the Community Facilities District No.\n2021-01 Maximum and Applied Special Tax Rates for Fiscal Year\n2023/24, and Calculation Thereof.\n3. Authorize the Chief Financial Officer to adjust the proposed special tax\nrates in the event there are any parcel changes, clerical errors, or\nother adjustments as may be necessary between the date the special\ntaxes were calculated and the date the fixed charges are submitted to\nthe County of Riverside, provided the applied special tax does not\nexceed the maximum special tax and is in compliance with the Rate\nand Method of Apportionment of Special Tax for each district.
