A.10. AWARD OF AN INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR AGREEMENT FOR\nLANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES (LANDSCAPE DISTRICTS -\nNORTH) (CITY COUNCIL AND CSD BOARD), WHICH IS FUNDED BY\nPARCEL CHARGES (AGMT. NO. 2023-XX) (Report of: Financial &\nManagement Services)\nRecommendations:\n1. Approve the Agreement for On-Site and/or Professional Services for\nLandscape Districts – North (“Agreement”) with Mariposa Landscapes,\nInc., 6232 Santos Diaz St. Irwindale, CA 91702, and waive any and all\nminor irregularities, to provide landscape and irrigation maintenance\nservices for certain landscape maintenance districts for a period of five\nyears at a total not-to-exceed amount of $2,032,771.18.\n2. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Agreement with Mariposa\nLandscapes, Inc. and authorize the Assistant City Manager/Chief\nFinancial Officer to execute subsequent amendments to the\nAgreement, in accordance with its terms, subject to the approval of the\nCity Attorney and provided sufficient funding appropriations and\nprogram approvals have been granted by the City Council.
