Item No. 28. 2023-0336 CONSIDER APPROVING A PUBLIC WORKS\nAGREEMENT WITH SILVERLINE NEVADA, LTD, DBA\nCALIFORNIA FENCE & SUPPLY, FOR THE\nINSTALLATION OF NEW FENCING AND GATES, AND\nELIMINATING CALIFORNIA CORNERS FOR PICKLE\nBALL COURT CONVERSION AT HEMINGWAY PARK\n(CITY COUNCIL)\nRecommendation: TAKE the following actions:\n1. APPROVE the elimination of California corners to allow for\nfuture pickleball tournaments at Hemingway Park.\n2. APPROVE a Public Works Agreement with Silverline Nevada,\nLTD, dba California Fence & Supply for a total not-to-exceed\nContract Sum of $50,134.04 (Exhibit 1).\n3. AUTHORIZE the expenditure of a construction contingency in the\namount of $5,013 (10% of the not-to-exceed total Contract Sum)\nfor any unforeseen construction work including, but not limited to,\nsubstructure conflicts, contaminated soil removal and disposal,\nand material testing that may be necessary to complete the\nproject.\n4.
