INTRODUCTION AND FIRST READING OF ORDINANCE NO. 23-1071\nAMENDING SECTION 9-1T-21 (URBAN DWELLINGS AND URBAN LOT\nSPLITS) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATED TO SB-9\nThe City Council is requested to adopt the proposed ordinance to bring the City’s\nSB-9 Ordinance into conformance with State law.\nPresenter: City Manager Cook\nRecommendation:\n1. Introduce Ordinance No. 23-1071 for first reading by title only, amending Title\n9, Chapters 1 of the Municipal Code (Attachment “A”) related to urban\ndwellings and urban lot splits (SB-9) and finding the Ordinance exempt from\nCEQA;\n2. Waive further reading of Ordinance No. 23-1071; and\n3. Schedule the second reading of Ordinance No. 23-1071 for June 6, 2023.
