8.2 Awarding a contract to HSCC, Inc. for the Kimball Park Dog Park and Tot Lot + Las Palmas\nPark Dog Park, CIP No. 23-06\nRecommendation:\nAdopt a Resolution Entitled, “Resolution of the City Council of the City of National City,\nCalifornia 1) Awarding a contract to HSCC Inc., in the not-to-exceed amount of $983,697 for\nthe Kimball Park Dog Park and Tot Lot + Las Palmas Park Dog Park project, CIP No. 23-06;\n2) Authorizing a 15% contingency of $147,555 for any unforeseen changes; 3) Authorizing\nthe Mayor to execute the contract; 4) authorizing the establishment of an appropriation and\ncorresponding revenue budget of $216,033 in the Engineering Department Grants Fund; and\n5) Authorizing the establishment of an appropriation of $576,576 in the Parks Development\nImpact Fees Fund.”
