PLAYGROUND PROJECTS AT BELLA VISTA, GARVEY RANCH, HIGHLANDS, AND\nSEQUOIA PARKS – APPROVE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR SUPERIOR RECREATION\nPRODUCTS TO PROCURE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $869,551.32\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Approve the designs for the playgrounds located at Bella Vista, Garvey Ranch Park,\nHighlands, and Sequoia Parks;\n(2) Approve a purchase order for Superior Recreation Products to procure playground\nequipment in the amount of $869,551.32; and\n(3) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.\nCEQA (California Environmental Quality Act):\nThe proposed projects are categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA) requirements pursuant to 14 California Code of Regulations § 15301 as a Class 1\ncategorical exemption (Existing Facilities).
