8.4 APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION TO SOLICIT\nBIDS FOR THE CITYWIDE SLURRY SEAL (PHASE 3) PROJECT FOR FY 2023-2024\nComments:\nThe City of Lynwood is currently on Phase 3 of the Four-Phase citywide slurry seal\n3\nprogram. This project has been previously advertised to solicit bids but was rejected due\nto insufficient funding for FY 22-23. Staff has now evaluated the funding for FY23-24 and\nis now able to solicit bids. Staff is now recommending City Council to approve the plans\nand specifications and authorize solicitation of bids for Slurry Seal Phase 3 Project. (PW)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution entitled: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVAL OF\nPLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION TO SOLICIT BIDS FOR THE\nCITYWIDE SLURRY SEAL (PHASE 3) PROJECT FOR FY 2023-2024.”
