8.5 CLEAN POWER ALLIANCE FEASIBILITY STUDY\nComments:\nClean Power Alliance (CPA) is a Joint Powers Authority (JPA) that was established to\nprovide cost-competitive electrical services, reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions\nthrough the availability of renewable electricity, stimulate renewable energy reduction\nprograms, and sustain long-term rate stability for residents and businesses through local\ncontrol. CPA is comprised of 32 cities, and the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles and\nVentura counties. Each member agency selects a representative to serve on the Board of\nDirectors with the intent of aligning the CPA’s goals to closely reflect the goals and values\nof the local communities they serve. (PW)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council of the City of Lynwood adopt the following\nresolution entitled, " A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF\nLYNWOOD APPROVING BUDGETARY TRANSFER FROM UNAPPROPRIATED\nGENERAL FUND TO PUBLIC WORKS ACCOUNT NUMBER 1011.45.401.62015 IN\nTHE AMOUNT OF $10,000."
