APPROVE MOA: ADMINISTRATION AND COST SHARING FOR IMPLEMENTATION\nOF THE COORDINATED INTEGRATED MONITORING PROGRAM & WATERSHED\nMANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE UPPER LOS ANGELES RIVER WATERSHED\nMANAGEMENT AREA – F2M13-54, C2M23-38, M2M23-81\nStaff requests that the City Council approve a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)between\nthe City of Alhambra and 18 other governmental agencies and the San Gabriel Valley\nCouncil of Governments for the administration and cost sharing among the agencies\nrelated to the implementation of the Coordinated Integrated Monitoring Program and\nEnhanced Watershed Management Program for the Upper Los Angeles River Watershed\nManagement Area. This MOA shall become effective on July 1, 2023 and shall remain in\neffect for three (3) years up to and including June 30, 2026.\nRecommended Action: City Council approve a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)\nbetween the City of Alhambra and 18 other governmental agencies and the San Gabriel\nValley Council of Governments for the administration and cost sharing among the\nagencies related to the implementation of the Coordinated Integrated Monitoring Program\nand Watershed Management Program for the Upper Los Angeles River Watershed\nManagement Area in the amount of $25,278.00 for FY 2023-24; $24,472.00 for FY 2024-\n25 and $29,209.00 for FY 2025-26; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to\nfinalize Council’s action.
