NOTICE OF COMPLETION: LONGDEN WELL NO. 2 TEMPORARY PUMP RENTAL –\nF2M22-29, C2M22-35, M2M23-82\nOn June 27, 2022, the City Council awarded a contract to General Pump Company for the\nLongden No. 2 Temporary Pump Rental in the amount of $88,971.00. The final cost of\nthe project was $88,971.00 per the contract amount. The project has been completed in\naccordance with the City’s requirements and specifications. As such, it would be\nappropriate for the City Council to accept the project as complete and instruct the City\nClerk that the Notice of Completion be filed with the County of Los Angeles Recorder’s\nOffice.\nRecommended Action: City Council accept the work of General Pump Company\nInc. for Longden No. 2 Temporary Pump Rental as complete in the amount of $88,971.00;\ndirect the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion with the County of Los Angeles for\nrecordation; direct the Finance Director to release the retention 35 days from the date of\nrecordation if no liens are filed; and direct staff to undertake the steps necessary to finalize\nCouncil’s action.
