7. AWARD CONTRACT: DEVELOPMENT OF A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE STORY\nPARK STORMWATER CAPTURE PROJECT – F2M23-29, RFP2M23-7, C2M23-36,\nM2M23-78\nOn March 13, 2023, the City Council approved the distribution of a Request for Proposals\nfor Development of a Feasibility Study for the Story Park Stormwater Capture Project. The\nFeasibility Study will satisfy the requirements of the Safe Clean Water Program to compete\nfor funding from the Regional Program for stormwater project design, construction,\noperations and maintenance, and other related eligible activities at the proposed Story\nPark site. Four proposals were received for the project. A review committee comprised of\nthree staff members reviewed the submitted proposals. Staff evaluated the proposals\n5\n5-22-23\nbased on qualifications, experience, references, technical approach, responsiveness and\ncost. Craftwater Engineering Inc. was selected as the most responsive firm.\nRecommended Action: City Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, by and between the City of Alhambra and\nCraftwater Engineering Inc. for the development of a Feasibility Study for the Story Park\nStormwater Capture Project in an amount not to exceed $99,946.00; and, direct staff to\nundertake the steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
