7. AMEND PREVIOUS VEHICLE PURCHASE AUTHORIZATION FROM FOUR TO\nTHREE 2023 FORD UTILITY PURSUIT VEHICLES AND ADD ONE FORD HYBRID\nUTILITY PURSUIT VEHICLE, AND APPROVE A BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE\nPURCHASE OF THE HYBRID VEHICLE\nPurpose: Authorize purchase of a Hybrid Utility Pursuit Vehicle instead of a Standard\nUtility Pursuit Vehicle and authorize a budget amendment from AQMD funds for the\npurchase. Associated costs in the amount of $203,797.86 will be funded by a\ncombination of Vehicle Replacement Fund and AQMD Fund monies.\nRecommended Action: 1) Amend previous authorization to purchase four 2023 Ford\nUtility Pursuit Vehicles from National Auto Fleet to the purchase of three 2023 Ford\nUtility Pursuit Vehicles from National Auto Fleet in the amount of $48,950.97\n(total of $146,852.91); 2) Authorize purchase of one 2023 Ford Hybrid Utility Pursuit\nVehicle from National Auto Fleet in the amount of $56,944.95; and, 3) Authorize a\nbudget amendment in the amount of $56,944.95 from the South Coast Air Quality\nManagement District (AQMD) Fund for the cost of the hybrid vehicle.
