6. ACCESS AGREEMENT WITH UNITED STATES ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION\nAGENCY (EPA) FOR INSTALLATION OF MONITORING WELLS IN THE CITY FOR\nTHE ORANGE COUNTY NORTH BASIN SUPERFUND SITE\nPurpose: Authorize the Public Works Department to allow access to the EPA for the\npurpose of collecting data in Buena Park, necessary to assess the extent of\ncontamination to protect human health and the environment. There is no cost associated\nwith the approval of this agreement.\nRecommended Action: 1) Approve an Access Agreement with United States\nEnvironmental Protection Agency (EPA) to allow installation of monitoring wells for the\nOrange County North Basin Superfund Site; 2) Authorize the City Manager and City\nAttorney to make any non- monetary changes to the agreement; and 3) Authorize the\nCity Manager and City Clerk to execute all related documents.
