5. PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A NEW BOILER FOR CITY HALL AND\nAUTHORIZATION OF A BUDGET AMENDMENT FOR THE PROJECT\nPurpose: Authorize the Public Works Department to replace the City Hall boiler to bring\nthe interior heating system back to functional status prior to the arrival of the fall and\nwinter seasons. Associated costs in the amount of $45,100 will require a budget transfer\nfrom the unappropriated Facilities Maintenance Fund balance for this purpose.\nRecommended Action: 1) Authorize a purchase order with Heat Transfer Solutions, Inc.\nin the amount of $41,000 for the City Hall Boiler Replacement Project; 2) Authorize\ncontingency funds in the amount of $4,100 in the same purchase order; and, 3) Approve\na budget transfer in the amount of $45,100 from the unappropriated Facilities\nMaintenance Fund balance for this purpose.
