PUBLIC HEARING - ORDINANCE APPROVING A ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT TO\nADD THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 7201 ARTESIA BOULEVARD TO THE\nBILLBOARD OVERLAY ZONE (BOZ) AND ALLOW THE REMOVAL OR\nRELOCATION OF SIGNS LOCATED OUTSIDE THE CITY'S JURISDICTION TO A\nLOCATION WITHIN BUENA PARK; ORDINANCE APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT\nAGREEMENT TO CONSTRUCT A TRIPLE-SIDED, 65-FT. HIGH DIGITAL\nBILLBOARD; AND ADOPTION OF ASSOCIATED INITIAL STUDY/NEGATIVE\nDECLARATION\nPresented by Swati Meshram, PhD, AICP, Planning Manager\nPurpose: Consideration of a proposal to construct a triple-sided, 65-ft. high digital\nbillboard north of Artesia Boulevard, east of Interstate -5, and south of Firestone\nBoulevard; and adoption of associated Initial Study/Negative Declaration (IS/ND)\nprepared and circulated in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act\n(CEQA). There is no budget impact associated with this item.\nRecommended Action: 1) Adopt ordinances approving Zoning Ordinance Text\nAmendment No. C21-1, Development Agreement No. DA21-1, and Negative Declaration\nNo. MND-22-3; and 2) Authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement.
