RESOLUTION REVISING THE REFUSE RATE ADJUSTMENT EFFECTIVE\nJULY 1, 2023, AND APPROVAL OF A UTILITY BILL INSERT REGARDING THE\nRESIDENTIAL REFUSE RATE ADJUSTMENT\nPurpose: Adopt a Resolution approving revised rates for the collection, recycling, and\ndisposal of refuse. Authorize the Public Works Department to distribute a utility bill insert\nregarding upcoming residential refuse rate adjustments going into effect July 1, 2023.\nAssociated printing costs of approximately $1,500 will be funded by the General Fund\nand are included in the current fiscal year budget (Account 11-6240-460220).\nRecommended Action: 1) Adopt a resolution establishing revised rates for the collection,\nrecycling, and disposal of refuse; and, 2) Approve a utility bill insert notifying residential\ncustomers of a refuse rate adjustment effective July 1, 2023.
