18.C Discuss Options for the Library Operation in Response to the Existing 147 - 160\nChiller Failure and the Current Situation of no Working Air Conditioning\nat the Facility\nStaff Report #23-165 - Pdf\nRecommendation:\nIt is respectfully recommended that the City Council:\nDiscuss and select an option for the library operation in response to the\nexisting chiller failure and the current situation of no functioning air\nconditioning at the facility.\n1. Rent a chiller and restore normal facility operations.\n2. Operate library with limited hours and accommodate staff at other\nfacilities during hours that are infeasible to operate without air\nconditioning.\n3. Utilize an alternative facility for limited library operations until a\nreplacement chiller can be installed.
