c) REPORT AWARD OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT\n23-0256 TO UPDATE THE CITY’S LOCAL HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN\nTO EMERGENCY PLANNING CONSULTANTS\n(Deputy City Manager Angela Crespi)\nRecommendation: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Award a contract to Emergency Planning Consultants to update the City's Local\nHazard Mitigation Plan at a not-to-exceed amount $52,500 for a term of one year\nending May 23, 2024 (Attachment 3);\n2. Appropriate $16,015 in the General Fund from the Prospective Expenditures account\nto cover the non-federal match; and\n3. Authorize the Mayor to execute and the City Clerk to attest to the proposed\nagreement, subject to approval by the City Attorney.
