13. CITYWIDE STREET SWEEPING CONTRACT - Consideration of a contract for\nCitywide street sweeping services.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Award a contract to Clean Site Services for Citywide street sweeping in the amount\nof $1,200,000, plus a 5 percent contingency, for a total annual amount of $1,260,000,\nwith annual Consumer Price Index (for Los Angeles, Riverside, and Orange County,\nDecember) adjustments, for a five-year base term beginning on July 1, 2023, and\nauthorize two, optional one-year renewals.\n2. Appropriate $142,001 from the Stormwater Utility fund balance to expenditure\naccount 3567220-514103 on a one-time basis for Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-23.\n3. Authorize an ongoing annual appropriation of $306,605, from the Stormwater Utility\nfund balance to expenditure account 3567220-514103 effective FY 2023-24, plus an\nadjustment consistent with the appropriate Consumer Price Index (CPI) beginning in\nFY 2024-25, contingent upon the appropriation of funds by the City Council in the\nannual budget for such fiscal year.\n4. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all contracts and associated\ndocuments, subject to City Attorney approval.
