RESOLUTION NO. - Acceptance of Grant Offers and Execution of a Grant Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration: Relative to purchase of zero-emission battery-electric buses for Los Angeles International Airport \nPURPOSE: The requested actions described in the staff report are relative to accepting federal grant funds as direct reimbursement for the proposed purchase of zero-emission battery-electric buses to be operated at Los Angeles International Airport. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport Commissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.f of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; approve acceptance of federal grant offers for zero-emission vehicle funds relative to purchase of electric-powered buses to be operated at Los Angeles International Airport; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute a Grant Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration relative to federal financial assistance as a partial funding source for said purchase, after approval as to form by the City Attorney.
