RESOLUTION NO.      - Sixth Amendment to Contract DA-5212 with Integrated Security Solutions, Inc.:  To extend the term through July 31, 2025 and increase the contract authority by $4,256,361, for new total not to exceed $18,344,323, covering configuration of new and existing closed-circuit television cameras and ongoing maintenance and repair services for the Closed Circuit Television Video Surveillance and Intelligent Observation Network System of Los Angeles World Airports \nPURPOSE: The proposed amendment will extend the contract by two (2) years, until July 2025, and add $4,256,361 in contract authority, which will support the configuration of 470 new cameras in the Genetec Video Management System, as part of the Closed Circuit Television Phase II, New Camera Installation Project. In addition, the amendment will provide for configuration of cameras installed as part of the Capital Construction Projects and for ongoing maintenance, repair, and support services for the Closed Circuit Television Video Surveillance and Intelligent Observation Network. The current contract with Integrated Security Solutions, Inc. will expire on July 31, 2023. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport Commissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.f and Article III, Class 1 (1) of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; find that the work can be performed more economically or feasibly by an independent contractor than by City employees; further find that, pursuant to Los Angeles Administrative Code Section 10.15 (a)(10) and Los Angeles Charter Section 371 (e)(10), the services to be provided under the contract involve performance of professional, expert, technical, and other special services such that use of competitive bidding would be impractical and undesirable; approve the Sixth Amendment to Contract DA-5212 with Integrated Security Solutions, Inc.; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute said Sixth Amendment after approval as to form by the City Attorney and approval by the Los Angeles City Council.
