Agenda Item 4
RESOLUTION NO. - One (1)-year Contract with Falcon Fuels, Inc.: With two (2) one-year extension options, by joining City of Los Angeles Contract ARC 40 59771 1, covering supply and delivery of unleaded fuel for Los Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport, for cost not to exceed $2,550,000 over the entire term including extension options \nPURPOSE: The proposed action is a request to join City of Los Angeles Contract ARC 40 59771 1 and award a one (1)-year contract to Falcon Fuels, Inc. for amount not to exceed $850,000. By doing so, it will create an interim contract, with option to extend or terminate early, to supply unleaded fuel to Los Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport until Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) staff can complete the competitive procurement process. The fuel contract will ensure that there is no disruption to the fuel supply for LAWA's operations and public safety vehicles. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport Commissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.f of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; approve the Contract with Falcon Fuels, Inc., by joining City of Los Angeles Contract ARC 40 59771 1; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute said Contract after approval as to form by the City Attorney.
