Adoption of Fiscal Year 2023‐24 Budget and Establishing the Appropriations Limit for\nFiscal Year 2023‐2024 (Joint Item on City Council, Housing Authority, and Reclamation\nAuthority agendas)\nDepartment: Finance\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council, Housing Authority Board and\nReclamation Authority Board convene concurrently to conduct the duly noticed public\nhearing on the proposed budgets.\nFollowing conclusion of the public hearing, the City Council should introduce Ordinance\nNo. 770, and all governing boards should adopt their respective resolutions pertaining to\nthe proposed Fiscal Year 2023‐24 Budget, as listed below:\nThat the City Council introduce City Ordinance No. 770 entitled: “AN ORDINANCE OF THE\nCITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR\n2023‐2024,” reading by title only and waiving further reading thereof.\nThat the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2023‐36‐3414 entitled: “A RESOLUTION OF\nCITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IRWINDALE ESTABLISHING THE APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR\nFISCAL YEAR 2023‐2024”\nThat the Irwindale Housing Authority adopt Resolution No. HA 2023‐05‐136 entitled: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE IRWINDALE HOUSING AUTHORITY ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR\nFISCAL YEAR 2023‐2024”\nThat the Irwindale Reclamation Authority adopt Resolution No. RA 2023‐02‐037 entitled:\n“A RESOLUTION OF THE IRWINDALE RECLAMATION AUTHORITY ADOPTING THE BUDGET\nFOR FISCAL YEAR 2023‐2024”.
