5) CONSIDERATION TO AUTHORIZE SUBMITTAL OF GRANT APPLICATION TO THE CALIFORNIA\nARTS COUNCIL TO SUPPORT THE MARIACHI MASTER APPRENTICE PROGRAM\nRecommend that the City Council:\na. Authorize the preparation and submittal of a grant application to the California Arts\nCouncil for $25,000 to support the Mariachi Master Apprentice Program;\nb. Authorize the City Manager to accept the grants, if awarded;\nc. Authorize the City Manager to execute all grant-related documents required for receiving\nsuch grant funds pursuant to the terms and conditions of the grant; and\nd. Upon full execution of all grant-related documents, authorize the City Manager to amend\nthe appropriate Fiscal Year 2023-2024 revenue and expenditure budgets to appropriate\nthe grant funds.
