11. Award of Contract to Water Main Interconnect Project (Houston Ave. & Moody St.)\nRecommendation that the City Council take the following actions:\n1. Award a Contract in the amount of $453,942.00, of the base bid items to the low\nbidder, Valverde Construction, Inc. for the Water Main Interconnect Project\n(Houston Ave and Moody St), City Project No. 22-WTR-02; and\n2. Appropriate additional project funding from the Water Capital Reserve Funds in\nthe amount of $236,639 that includes a five percent contingency to complete the\nproject.
