14.1 Consideration and Authorization to Accept Funding from the Los Angeles County\nRegional Parks and Open Space District from the Measure A Youth and Veteran Job\nTrainee Competitive Grant Program for Contract Years 2023-2027.\nRECOMMENDATION OF BUSINESS ITEM UNDER CONSIDERATION:\nIt is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Authorize the City of El Monte Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department,\nto accept funding from the Los Angeles County Regional Parks and Open Space District\nfor the Measure A Youth and Veteran Trainee Program for Contract Years 2023-2027;\n2. Authorize the City Manager or her designee to sign all necessary documents to execute\ngrant documentation; and\n3.
