M. CO-SPONSOR 2023 HI AUTUMN FESTIVAL WITH WORLD JOURNAL LA,\nLLC\nThe City Council is requested to consider hosting and co-sponsoring the 2023\nHi Autumn Festival with World Journal LA, LLC from September 16 through\nRecommendation:\n1. Approve hosting and co-sponsorship of a 2023 Hi Autumn Festival\n(Festival) with World Journal LA, LLC (World Journal) on Saturday,\n2. Approve the temporary parking ban on the northside Las Tunas Drive\nbetween Kauffman Avenue and Golden West Avenue adjacent to Temple\nCity Park and a parking ban on the westside of Golden West Avenue\nadjacent to Temple City Park on September 16 and 17, 2023.\n3. Waive all fees and deposits for use of Temple City Park and the\nPerforming Arts Pavilion;\n4. Waive all fees and authorize City staff to hang a street banner on Las\nTunas Drive from August 14 to September 17, 2023;\n5. Approve use of the City’s outdoor movie screen and equipment;\n6. Approve the use of the City Seal and City Logo for advertising and\npromotional materials; and\n7. Grant World Journal LA, LLC a special event permit with the conditions and\nresponsibilities stated in the staff report and authorize the City Manager to\nplace additional conditions if necessary.
