LEFT TURN PHASING ADDITION TO THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT BALDWIN\nAVENUE AND LIVE OAK AVENUE\nThe City Council is requested to review proposed traffic safety improvements at\nthe intersection of Baldwin Avenue and Live Oak Avenue.\nPresenter: City Traffic Engineer\nRecommendation:\n1. Review the justification for the addition of three-section Flashing Yellow Arrow\nProtected/Permissive left turn phasing at the intersection of Baldwin Avenue\nand Live Oak Avenue;\n2. Approve the Transportation and Public Safety Commission and staff’s\nrecommendations to proceed with the design and implementation of the left\nturn signal phasing improvements at the subject intersection and approve\nattached Resolution No. 23-5681 (Attachment “A”); and\n3. Authorize the release of Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure services of a\nTraffic Signal Design Consultant for the design services.
