SECOND READING AND ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 23-1071\nAMENDING SECTION 9-1T-21 (URBAN DWELLINGS AND URBAN LOT\nSPLITS) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATED TO SB-9\nThe City Council is requested to adopt Ordinance No. 23-1071 amending the City\nMunicipal Code to bring the City’s SB-9 Ordinance into conformance with\nCalifornia Housing and Community Development Department’s interpretation of\nState law.\nRecommendation: Waive further reading and adopt Ordinance No.\n23-1071 (Attachment “A”) amending the Zoning\nCode related to urban dwellings and urban lot\nsplits (SB-9) and finding the Ordinance exempt\nfrom CEQA.
