Adopt by second reading, in title only, Ordinance No. 736\n(Attachment A) adding Chapter 5.13 “Rent Stabilization” to Title 5,\nBusiness Licenses and Regulations of the Cudahy Municipal Code\nrestricting rent increases and establishing other regulations applicable\nto certain covered residential rental units in the City and;\n2. Adopt by second reading, in title only, Ordinance No. 737\n(Attachment B) repealing Chapter 5.12 “Rental Property”, of Title 5,\nBusiness Licenses and Regulations, of the Cudahy Municipal Code\nand adding Chapter 5.14 “Tenant Protections” to Title 5 establishing\nJust Cause Eviction Protections and other Tenant Protections\napplicable to certain residential tenancies in the City.
