7.\nConsideration to Accept Grant Revenue from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice\nAssistance Grant and Authorize Appropriation of these Funds to the Victorville Police\nDepartment\nRecommendation:\nThat the Honorable City Council:\n(1) Accept the grant revenue from the United States Department of Justice Edward Byrne\nMemorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) award for 2022;\n(2) Adopt Resolution No. 23-002 approving additional revenue and expenditure\nappropriations in the Federal Grants fund in the amount of $69,959; and\n(3) Authorize the City Manager or his designee to process all documents required for the\nprogram.
