3-H. 2022-23 STREET REHABILITATION AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS PROJECT – AWARD OF\nCONTRACT\nIt is recommended that the City Council consider:\n(1) Authorizing the City Manager to execute a public works contract, in a form approved by\nthe City Attorney, with All American Asphalt of Corona, CA in the contract amount of\n$6,865,699 for the 2022-23 Street Rehabilitation at Various Locations Project;\n(2) Authorizing the Director of Public Works to approve change orders and contingency up to\n$1,029,855, or 15% of the contract amount for a total project cost of $7,895,554;\n(3) Accepting and appropriating anticipated reimbursement from the City of Rosemead in the\namount of $152,095 for costs related to their portion of work on New Avenue to the Capital\nImprovement Project No. 96031 budget; and\n(4) Taking such additional, related, action that may be desirable.\nCEQA (California Environmental Quality Act):\nSince the proposed work is a minor alteration to an existing public facility, this project is Class 1\nCategorically Exempt pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
