8.3 VALVE MAINTENANCE TRUCK EQUIPMENT UPGRADES\nComments:\nThe Public Works Utility Department is requesting the approval to purchase and install\nhardware and software components to the Valve Maintenance Truck which will allow staff\nto perform tasks to maintain the water distribution system\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution entitled: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING\nTHE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE\nCOMPONENTS FOR THE VALVE MAINTENANCE TRUCK FOR $155,949.67; AND\nAUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE PURCHASE AGREEMENT.”
